What if my music is not in final printed form?
If you write your music with pencil and paper but have the ability to put it into digital format, with software such as Finale or Sibelius, then do that. If you are unable to digitize your sheet music, we have resources to do it for you.
What if I am unsure if I can get the rights to publish my arrangement?
Obtaining rights to publishing our partners’ arrangements is something we do. Let’s discuss the pieces you wish to publish and talk about a solution.
Rights are not always available, but we will do the legwork to find the rights-owner and make our best efforts to secure their permission cost-effectively.
How much money can I make by selling my music with Ascenda?
This depends on how much of your music people buy and the structure of our agreement with you.
Instead of the pennies that other publishers pay, we delight our partners with the generous royalties they receive from Ascenda Music. And we proactively market your music in creative ways that other publishers are not thinking of.
